Artisan Guitars presented their 7th Annual Chet Atkins Tribute Concert in Liberty Hall at the Factory at Franklin on July 10th, 2012. We were privileged to be a part of this event for the second year in a row. We provided the sound system, the lighting and the video.
We used our Allen & Heath iLive T-112 digital console in conjunction with the iDR-32 MixRack. Our 10 JBL VRX Line Array speakers were used as mains. For lighting, we used 7 Springtree Flat12-TRI fixtures for backlighting, some par cans and ellipsoidal fixtures for front lighting and Chauvet COLORdash Pars and American DJ Mega Bar TRI’s for up-lighting columns and brick walls.
For video, we used our 2 Hitachi CP-X1250 projectors in conjunction with the 9×12 screens on both sides of the stage. The video team from MTSU gave us a feed from their camera system so we could project live shots of the performers onto the screens. This gave all attendees a much closer look at the performers as well as their finger speed on the guitar.
Performing artists for the night included Jack Pearson, Jonathan Brown, Muriel Anderson, Pat Bergeson, Pete Huttlinger and Tommy Emmanuel (Certified Guitar Player).
